It’s a nice 20-footer, but up close it’s a bondo bucket.

I dig it. My dad daily drove a 74 Pontiac Grand Am coupe with a 400 in the early 90's that was the shade of metallic brown (sans bondo) . It was actually the family tow vehicle for our first (and small) boat.

My favorite 70s American land yacht (and I think I’ve said this before when another boat tail got posted, but no pun intended.)

If I had the money to have someone build me a show car, I would probably pick a Riviera.
However, I wouldn’t pick a Gen III boat-tail, nor a Gen I original Rivie.
I’d go with an early Gen II 66-67 car... and graft a boat tail to that.
Someone did that to a Gen 1 64 Riviera, and won the Riddler Award for it in 2014, with the car called Rivision.
I can’t say that I like the design choices here, the color, the vents, the lack of any rear quarter window... not really my favorite riddler winner.
But I like the boat tail concept... I’d just put it on a sleeker Gen II car.
I think a subtle mix of luxury and pro-touring performance, and just the right color choice and just the right not-too-low stance would make for a fantastic classic resto-mod car.

Yeah, it's pretty glorious. Lean into the pun though :)
